NBI-Engineering LLC has successfully completed testing of network water heaters at the Cherepetskaya GRES branch of Inter RAO – Electрогенерация JSC.
Project goal:
Conduct thermal and hydraulic tests of the heat-supply units of turbo-units No. 8 and 9.
Project objectives:
- Determine the design thermal capacity of the heaters and the corresponding parameters of the heating steam and network water;
- Determine the temperature differential and the maximum temperature of network water heating;
- Determine the maximum allowable pressure on the water and steam sides;
- Determine the design flow rate of the network water and the corresponding pressure loss.
As a result of the project, the Customer received a technical report containing the actual operational characteristics of heat-supply units TA No. 8 and 9 at ChGRES, along with recommendations for improving heater efficiency.
