JSC "NBI" has completed a project for the replication of EMAS.OPT for an energy company.
Project goal:
To develop a tool for optimizing the composition and operation mode of CHP plant equipment.
Project tasks: The project included the replication of the EMAS.OPT system, including the development of a mathematical model for the CHP plant. Key tasks addressed:
- Generation and export of report forms for analysis and accounting of calculation results when compiling the generation facility's operating plan;
- Forming recommendations for the optimal electricity consumption structure, considering the retail electricity market conditions;
- Compiling monthly calculation results by hour/day, assessing deviations in fuel consumption and key operational parameters from actual figures;
- Developing an equipment loading plan for heat and electricity generation for the upcoming day;
- Optimal distribution of planned volumes by month, considering average prices, heat load profile, and maintenance schedule;
- Determining the optimal operating mode of the CHP plant for the next day;
- Optimal hourly distribution of planned volumes, considering commercial parameters (prices and tariffs) and peak hours. Recalculation based on actual performance.
Implementation stages:
- Survey of the modeling object;
- Collection of initial data;
- Development of an optimization model;
- Configuration of calculation algorithms and business logic;
- User training, pilot industrial operation;
- Testing and commissioning for industrial operation;
As a result of the project, the customer received:
- Optimization of equipment composition and operation mode;
- The ability to account for market netting mechanisms and peak hours when planning the generation facility's operation;
- Reduced time for calculations, decision-making, and result analysis;
All work was carried out on an import-independent platform, including Astra Linux OS and Postgres DBMS, ensuring system reliability and security.
