In December 2019, specialists of JSC "NBI" implemented a project to develop the EMAS information-analytical system to support decision-making in the wholesale electricity and capacity market for PJSC "RusHydro".
As part of the project, based on the existing platform, it became possible for multiple holding companies such as PJSC "RusHydro", JSC "DGK", PJSC "Boguchanskaya HPP" to work with the EMAS module simultaneously.
The following development works were also completed for the module:
- Creation of new algorithms;
- Implementation of new report loading;
- Integration with information systems;
- Creation of new reporting forms;
- Improvement of existing and creation of new OLAP cubes;
- Creation of new reference books;
- Improvement of the "Event Log".
Project goals:
1. Creating conditions to improve PJSC "RusHydro"'s efficiency in the wholesale energy and capacity market by expanding the functionality of the "Commercial Dispatching" information system in energy sales activities and optimization of hourly HPP operation modes.
2. Creating conditions to improve PJSC "Boguchanskaya HPP"'s efficiency in the wholesale energy and capacity market by including this facility in the "Commercial Dispatching" information system for energy sales activities.
3. Implementation, within the approved concept, of trading functions with elements of commercial dispatching for generating assets in the Far East non-price zone.
Customer: RusHydro Group - one of Russia's largest energy holdings. The customer is a leader in renewable energy production, developing generation based on water flow, solar, wind and geothermal energy. The group unites over 60 hydroelectric power plants in Russia, thermal power plants and power grid assets in the Far East, as well as energy sales companies and research and design institutes.
