Specialists of JSC "NBI" completed maintenance works for the wholesale electricity market optimization information system of one of the largest generation companies to ensure system operability and performance according to specified quality metrics and user support.
As part of the project, NBI specialists provided technical system support and refined CHP plant optimization models. Tasks included updating equipment performance standards with Web/Excel visualization capabilities, adjusting standards based on actual equipment condition, and updating station heat balance diagrams.
The wholesale market optimization system is designed to optimize plant operations for increased marginal income. Its functions include:
- Optimizing plant operations at different wholesale market stages;
- Calculating key production metrics for annual planning;
- Report generation and visualization;
- Production reporting;
- Analytical reporting;
- Long-term planning reports;
- Data visualization on mimic diagrams;
- Transferring specific calculation reports to adjacent systems.
Project outcomes included processing 1,021 user requests, improving plant models, and customizing calculation algorithms to meet client needs.
