The company was established based on the thermal generating capacities and heat network assets of regional JSCs in 11 regions of the Central Federal District — Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tambov, and Tula regions. In 2015, the company’s assets in the Bryansk region were transferred to municipal ownership of the region.
The main activities of PJSC "Quadra" are the production and sale of electricity on the wholesale electricity and capacity market, as well as the production, transportation, and sale of thermal energy on the retail market. The company meets 25% of the thermal energy needs of consumers in the Central Federal District.
The total area of the regions where the company operates is 337.4 thousand sq. km, with a total population of about 13 million people.
