In December 2016, NBI-Engineering LLC completed the development of technical specifications for fuel use in the equipment of the production unit of Voronezh CHPP-2, a branch of Kvadra - Voronezh Generation, in order to ensure compliance with regulatory energy characteristics.
During the project implementation, the following tasks were set and successfully completed:
1. Development of energy performance characteristics for boiler and turbine units installed at LM-6000 PD SPRINT units No. 1 and 2, waste-heat boilers KUP-75-39-440 units No. 1 and 2, steam turbine PT-25/34-3,4/1,2 unit No. 3, steam boilers CKTI-75-39f units No. 1 and 2, hot-water boilers KVGM-180-150-2 units No. 3v, 4v, 5v, and steam turbine PR-12/35-10M/1,2 unit No. 2.
2. Optimization of electricity and heat consumption for the CHP plant’s own needs;
3. Development of graphs for technological heat losses associated with its distribution to external consumers;
4. Development of a calculation template for nominal and standard equipment indicators for each boiler and turbine unit and for the CHP plant as a whole for the reporting period, including an Excel workbook format;
5. Development of graphs of initial-nominal specific fuel consumption for delivered electricity and heat, characteristic for winter and summer periods, equipment composition, operational modes, and electric and thermal loads;
6. Calculations to determine thermal efficiency reserve coefficients for electricity and heat distribution.
As a result of the work performed, the Customer received new regulatory and technical documentation valid for the next 5 years.
Client: Public Joint-Stock Company “Quadra – Power Generation” is one of the largest Russian territorial generating companies. Its main activities include the production and sale of electricity in the wholesale electricity and capacity market, as well as the production, transportation, and sale of thermal energy in the retail market. The company supplies 25% of the thermal energy needs of consumers in the Central Federal District.
