In December 2019, specialists from JSC NBI completed the implementation of an optimization system for generating facilities of LLC "Lukoil-TSUR". The project involved: Astrakhan CHPP-2, Krasnodar CHPP.
The main goal of the project is to increase the marginal income of PJSC "LUKOIL" from the production and sale of electric and thermal energy.
Project objectives:
• Improve the accuracy of forecasting volumetric and cost indicators of PJSC "LUKOIL" thermal power plants;
• Optimize operating modes and composition of generating equipment at thermal power plants.
Improving the timeliness and validity of decisions on managing the production activities of PJSC "LUKOIL" thermal power plants is achieved through the implementation of an information and calculation software system consisting of three subsystems: optimization subsystem, forecasting subsystem, information and analytical subsystem.
Results:
The system enabled the Customer to optimally plan operating modes in various wholesale market planning sectors, perform scenario calculations of consumption volumes, generation and DAM prices at nodes, forecast DAM prices and consumption/generation volumes in various planning sectors.
