Specialists of JSC "NBI" completed maintenance work on the optimization information system for wholesale electricity and capacity market (WECM) operations of a generation company, ensuring system functionality and performance according to specified quality metrics and user support.
As part of the project, NBI staff provided technical system support and implemented improvements to CHP plant optimization models. Completed tasks included updating equipment performance standards with Web and Excel chart display capabilities, adjusting equipment specifications based on actual conditions, and updating plant thermal diagrams.
The EMAS.OPT information system is designed to optimize plant operations to increase marginal income. Its functions include:
- Optimizing plant operations at different WECM stages;
- Calculating key production metrics for annual planning;
- Report generation and visualization;
- Generating production reports;
- Creating analytical reports;
- Preparing long-term planning reports;
- Visualizing report data on mimic diagrams;
- Transferring specific calculation reports to related systems.
Project results included processing 1021 user requests, improving plant models, and refining calculation algorithms to meet customer needs.
