Specialists of JSC "NBI" have developed the Automated Information Management System for the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (AIMS STSI), integrated with the Unified State System for Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations, under the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
System purpose:
• Collection, processing, storage and exchange of information about all road traffic accidents (RTAs) based on a unified form approved by Order No. 699 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia dated June 19, 2015;
• Preparation of RTA data for inclusion in state statistical reporting;
• Automated monitoring of the activities of STSI units in recording RTAs, identifying shortcomings in road transport infrastructure and taking measures to eliminate them;
• Preparation of consolidated operational reports on various accident indicators;
• Preparation of information for provision to interested government agencies within the framework of interagency cooperation;
• Providing citizens with information about vehicle involvement in RTAs through specialized services on the official STSI website on the Internet.
AIMS STSI was developed and modernized as a distributed multi-level web system within the framework of the federal target programs "Improving Road Safety in 2006-2012" and "Improving Road Safety in 2013-2020". Currently, AIMS STSI is in industrial operation.
