Specialists of JSC "NBI" developed software for EMERCOM of Russia - EDDS-112 system ("System 112") - a hardware-software complex designed for automated processing of emergency service calls through the single number "112".
The purpose of creating the EDDS-112 complex is to organize measures aimed at:
- Accelerating response and improving interaction of emergency services in crisis situations;
- Creating a unified information space for response services;
- Increasing public awareness about emergencies, protection methods and measures taken to combat adverse consequences;
- Reducing costs for emergency prevention and response activities.
Tasks addressed:
- Receiving calls to the single phone number "112" or through other communication channels - email, fax, SMS, web portal;
- Identifying caller number;
- Reconnecting in case of call interruption (automatic callback);
- Analyzing reasons for calls;
- Registering received information - maintaining incident cards.
Transferring requests to appropriate dispatch services through methods such as:
- Conference call;
- Call forwarding;
- Information transfer;
- Notification;
- Alerting population and organizations through various communication channels;
- Consultation services for population;
- Accumulating information in knowledge base and using it for decision making;
- Monitoring operator actions (recording, listening and visual observation).
Capabilities provided for operators:
- Mass notification of population and organizations using existing lists via phone, SMS, fax or email;
- Alerting dispatch service personnel, officials and managers at all levels;
- Phone alerts can be performed fully automatically (pre-recorded voice messages) or with operator participation (operator speaks necessary text using system prompts).

- Automated dispatch system for managing firefighting forces and resources;
- Automated system of unified duty dispatch center - EDDC-01.
